Irbit is a town in Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia, located 203 kilometers from Yekaterinburg by train or 250 kilometers by car, on the right bank of the Nitsa River. Population: 38,357; 43,318; 51,708. It was previously known as Irbeyevskaya Sloboda.
