## Tuning into CFJU 90.1 FM: A Voice for the Restigouche Region
Nestled in the heart of northern New Brunswick, amidst the picturesque landscapes of St. Quentin and Kedgwick, resides a vital community voice: CFJU 90.1 FM, broadcasting along Route 17. More than just a radio station, CFJU serves as a cultural cornerstone, reflecting the vibrant spirit and unique identity of the Restigouche region.
Established in 1991, CFJU initially extended the reach of CFAI in Edmundston, bringing its programming to a wider audience. However, recognizing the importance of local representation, CFJU began crafting its own unique programming in 1993. This pivotal shift marked the beginning of a truly community-focused station, dedicated to sharing local stories, celebrating local talent, and providing a platform for the voices of St. Quentin and Kedgwick.
