Radio Capelle is the local broadcaster of Capelle aan den IJssel. The radio station plays music from the 1960s to the present day and provides news and current affairs from Capelle aan den IJssel. Radio Capelle also makes a cable newspaper with the radio program as a background.

Capelle aan den IJssel is a town and municipality in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. The municipality had a population of 66,818 in 2019, and covers an area of 15.40 km², of which 1.26 km² is water. It is situated on the eastern edge of Rotterdam, on the Hollandse IJssel river.
