Lynden is the second largest city in Whatcom County, Washington, United States. Located within the Metropolitan Area of Bellingham, WA Named and established in 1874 near the site of the Nooksack Indian village Squahalish , the city of Lynden began as a pioneer settlement headed by Holden and Phoebe Judson.
