Located in the coastal province of Manabí, Ecuador, HCJB (Heralding Christ Jesus’ Blessings) first went on the air in 1931. It began as a bold venture, a dream to utilize radio to reach remote populations with information and inspiration. This made HCJB one of the first missionary radio broadcasters in the world and a true pioneer in international shortwave broadcasting.
