The system is operated by Calhoun County 9-1-1 with the goal to further enhance our ability to protect the safety of life, health, and property of the community at large. The FM Service will be able to immediately broadcast information such as: Emergency Alert System transmissions, Real-time notification and alerting for the community regarding emergency situations, such as vehicle accidents, severe weather, amber alerts, and other public safety incidents, Traffic Information, Alternate travel routers in an effort to ease traffic congestion, Continuous public education and information designed to enhance the community's preparedness for emergency situations.
