Africa Radio: A Transcontinental Voice

Africa Radio, formerly known as Africa 1, has evolved into a dynamic Franco-African radio station with a remarkable history. Founded in Gabon in 1981 with both French and Gabonese funding, it initially operated as two nearly independent entities: Africa 1 Gabon and Africa 1 Paris.

From Africa 1 to Africa Radio

In the early 2000s, France withdrew from Africa 1 Gabon, leaving it under the control of the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya. However, Africa 1 Paris has maintained a strong presence in the French radio landscape with impressive audience scores.

Paris: A Cultural Hub

Paris, the capital of France, has been a significant center of finance, commerce, fashion, science, music, and painting since the 17th century. As the most populous city in Europe since the 14th century, Paris boasts a vibrant culture and rich history.

France: A Nation of Art and Cuisine

France, renowned for its wines and sophisticated cuisine, is a country that seamlessly blends medieval cities, alpine villages, and Mediterranean beaches. It is home to the iconic Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, and the Palace of Versailles, all of which serve as testaments to the nation's storied past.
