ATTITUDE is a generalist proximity radio station based in Angoulême in Charente. The radio broadcasts in most of the department via its main frequency of Angoulême 98.3 FM and its frequency of Ruffec 90.7 FM. Attitude was created on April 17, 2004 but its structure was born in May 1982. Its history therefore dates back to the explosion of free radios in the early 1980s.

Angoulême is a commune, the capital of the Charente department, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of southwestern France. The inhabitants of the commune are known as Angoumoisins or Angoumoisines. Located on a plateau overlooking a meander of the Charente River, the city is nicknamed the "balcony of the southwest".
