CJGX is an AM radio station, located in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Its frequency is 940 kHz, which broadcasts with 50,000 watts daytime and 10,000 watts nighttime; it is one of only two full-power Canadian radio station broadcasting on 940 AM. The station airs a country music format.

Yorkton is a city located in south-eastern Saskatchewan, Canada. It is about 450 kilometres north-west of Winnipeg and 300 kilometres south-east of Saskatoon and is the sixth largest in the province. As of 2017 the census population of the city was 19,643. Yorkton has had a growth rate of 4.3% since 2011.

Saskatchewan is a Canadian province that borders the United States to the south. Grassland covers its southern plains, and to the north are the rugged rock of the Canadian Shield plateau, coniferous forests, rivers and lakes. Regina, the provincial capital, is home to the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, with exhibits on natural history and the people of Canada?s First Nations.
