Translated from Dutch-Omroep Flevoland is the regional broadcaster of the province of Flevoland. On 1 April 1989, Omroep Flevoland started using regional radio from a building in the De Gordiaan shopping center in Lelystad. Gerard Hullegie was allowed to present the first broadcast centrally. From location he was assisted by Marc van Amstel and Inge Diepman.
Wikipedia (dutch)

Lelystad is a municipality and a city in the centre of the Netherlands, and it is the capital of the province of Flevoland. The city, built on reclaimed land, was founded in 1967 and was named after Cornelis Lely, who engineered the Afsluitdijk, making the reclamation possible.

The Netherlands, a country in northwestern Europe, is known for a flat landscape of canals, tulip fields, windmills and cycling routes. Amsterdam, the capital, is home to the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and the house where Jewish diarist Anne Frank hid during WWII. Canalside mansions and a trove of works from artists including Rembrandt and Vermeer remain from the city's 17th-century "Golden Age."
