KGPR is a non-profit radio station licensed to Great Falls, Montana. The station is owned by the Great Falls Public Radio Association, and it is an affiliate of Montana Public Radio, with programming originating locally as well as from KUFM in Missoula, Montana.

Great Falls is a city in Montana. It’s home to the C.M. Russell Museum, devoted to the artist known for images of the American West. The Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art shows contemporary work in a landmark Romanesque Revival building. On the Missouri River, the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail Interpretive Center has exhibits on the explorers’ route through the adjacent Giant Springs State Park.

Montana is a western state defined by its diverse terrain ranging from the Rocky Mountains to the Great Plains. Its wide-open spaces include Glacier National Park, a vast wilderness preserve that passes into Canada. The park?s many snow-capped peaks, lakes and alpine hiking trails are showcased along its famed Going-to-the-Sun Road, stretching 50 miles.

The U.S. is a country of 50 states covering a vast swath of North America, with Alaska in the northwest and Hawaii extending the nation?s presence into the Pacific Ocean. Major Atlantic Coast cities are New York, a global finance and culture center, and capital Washington, DC. Midwestern metropolis Chicago is known for influential architecture and on the west coast, Los Angeles' Hollywood is famed for filmmaking.
