Translated from French-Hélène FM is a local radio station in the town of Surgères, in the Charente-Maritime department. Created in 1982 under the name of “Radio Surgères” then “Radio Hélène”, it became “Hélène FM” in 2004 and shortly after obtained a new frequency from the Superior Audiovisual Council allowing it to cover the region of Saint-Jean- of Angély.
