Founded in 1984 under the name Radio Flotteurs, Flotteurs FM is a Category A radio station that covers three-quarters of the Nièvre and southern Yonne. Starting at 89 MHz, it changed frequency in 1989 to join 91 FM, its current frequency.

Clamecy is a commune in the Nièvre department in central France. Clamecy is the capital of an arrondissement in the department of Nièvre, at the confluence of the Yonne and Beuvron and on the Canal du Nivernais, 74 kilometres N.N.E. of Nevers on the Paris–Lyon railway.
