VILLENEUVE-D'ASCQ

Translated from French-Radio Campus is an associative radio station based in Villeneuve-d'Ascq, on the Cité Scientifique campus of the University of Lille (Building M1). Founded in 1969 clandestinely on Free Radio, it is one of the oldest associative radios in France. Radio Campus has inspired the creation of many other university radios which have adopted its name and which form the Radio Campus France network of which the Villeneuvoise branch is a member.

France, in Western Europe, encompasses medieval cities, alpine villages and Mediterranean beaches. Paris, its capital, is famed for its fashion houses, classical art museums including the Louvre and monuments like the Eiffel Tower. The country is also renowned for its wines and sophisticated cuisine. Lascaux?s ancient cave drawings, Lyon?s Roman theater and the vast Palace of Versailles attest to its rich history.
