Bac FM, associative radio of category A, is a Radio In Milieu Scolaire (REMS) under the aegis of CLEMI whose goal is media education. Its vocation is to build its programming with the objective of civic and responsible training for young people by also offering cultural openness in a department, which, although close to Paris (200km), is nonetheless landlocked.

Nevers is the prefecture of the Nièvre department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in central France. It was the principal city of the former province of Nivernais. It is 260 km south-southeast of Paris.
